En fin de week-end, la WWE a annoncé un nouveau match pour le prochain épisode de Friday Night Smackdown. The New Day feront face aux nouvelles Superstars du roster, The Forgotten Sons. Les Smackdown Tag Team Championships ne seront pas en jeu.
Ce combat s’ajoute à trois affrontements déjà officialisés pour le show bleu. Daniel Bryan fera face à King Corbin, Otis à Dolph Ziggler et Mandy Rose à Carmella. Ces deux derniers matches cités détermineront les ultimes participants aux Money in the Bank Ladder match masculin et féminin.
